The gas meter "Berestye" KG4 is equipped with a telemetry unit BBT-5-E-R. Housings of all types of meters are made of high quality galvanized steel in one piece. This ensures compliance with international standards, the Russian standard for fire safety (± 650 °) and eliminates the possibility of unauthorized interference in the operation of the measuring mechanisms of meters. In the KG-4 "Berestye" gas meters, a backstop is installed to mechanically block the measuring mechanism when trying to "unwind" the value of the readings. In Berestye gas meters, a magnetic coupling is used (instead of standard gaskets), which does not require maintenance and ensures that no natural gas leaks into the environment during the entire service life.
